Earth | 2017

Cyphers is an influential Irish literary magazine founded in 1975, created as a home for poetry, prose and art from Ireland and beyond. Over its fifty-year history, it became known for bringing together established writers and new voices, with an outward-looking approach that connected Irish writing to a wider international literary community.

The magazine concluded publication with its 100th issue in 2025.

Issue 84, published in 2017, features “Earth” by John Michael Mouskos, alongside work from a broad collection of contemporary poets and writers. His poem appears on page 26 of the issue.
